Profile
- Doctor of Economic Sciences. She specialises in Ukrainian market research, business analysis and investment consulting.
At Legal Profession Corporation CASTGLOBAL she supports the entry of Japanese companies into the Ukrainian market: preparation of feasibility studies, analysis of the regulatory environment, investment appraisal (CAPEX, OPEX, IRR, NPV) and coordination among stakeholders, including work within the UNIDO / METI Green Industrial Recovery Programme for Ukraine. A separate strand of her work covers business strategy and business planning, strategic development of territories, and industrial park and cluster concept development.
She also leads work on Japanese real estate investment. She is the author of an analytical study on the investment attractiveness of residential real estate across fifteen major global cities for 2020–2025 with a forecast to 2030, and advises foreign investors on the premium segment of the Tokyo market.
She spent more than twenty years in economic research and higher education, serving as Associate Professor at the Department of Management and Foreign Economic Activity of the Ukrainian Academy of Banking of the National Bank of Ukraine. She has experience in local government — elected twice to Sumy City Council and currently a deputy of Sumy Regional Council — and contributed as an expert to the development strategies of the city of Sumy and the Sumy region.
A word from Tetiana
- An investment decision is always taken on incomplete information. My work is to make that incompleteness as small as possible.
The Ukrainian market is usually described in generalities, and the Japanese property market is often presented to foreign investors without regard for local practice. In both cases, decisions based on general impressions prove expensive.
I work from facts — from regulation, figures and actual practice — so that the client sees the market as it is.
